Every Gulf country has official apps and websites for contracts, residency and fines. Here is what each one is for.

A paper or SMS can be wrong, old or fake. The official record is what counts. Checking takes a few minutes and protects you.
What to check where
- 1UAE: labour contracts and work permits on MOHRE; fines on the police app for your emirate.
- 2Saudi Arabia: employment contracts on Qiwa; iqama, fines and exit and re-entry on Absher.
- 3Qatar: residency, fines and labour services through the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Labour apps.
- 4Kuwait: residency and labour services through the Public Authority for Manpower and government apps.
Use the transaction number
Most official documents and messages include a transaction, reference or case number. Search for that number in the official app to see the real status.
